Directions to Harbin Hot Springs The following directions are for Harbin Hot Springs, Middletown, California. Harbin is about 90 miles North of San Francisco, just north of the Napa valley, near Middletown, CA. Harbin's emergency phone number is 707.987.2477. From Middletown (for everyone) Once you arrive in Middletown, turn West onto Hwy 175. Drive three short blocks to Barnes St. (Big Canyon Rd.) and turn right. Drive 1.2 miles to Harbin Springs Road, turning left at the fork at the top of the hill. Follow road for 2 miles to our gate house. Tell them what workshop you are attending and sign-in. Ask for a map and directions to the Mountain Lodge. From San Francisco and the Airport Hwy 101 North through San Francisco (Golden Gate Bridge) to just North of Santa Rosa Exit on River Road/Mark West Springs Road/Calistoga (one exit past Mendocino Ave) East on Mark West Springs Road (11 miles) It becomes Porter Creek Hwy after about 5 miles and ends at the flashing red light. Turn Left on Petrified Forest Road, following the signs for Calistoga (4.3 miles). It ends and turn Left onto Hwy 128/Foothill Blvd (approximately 8/10s of a mile).
